To the students at Buchser MS, welcome, be happy, feel safe, but most of all, do something good for yourself... Learn. Learn not for your parents, not for your teachers, learn for you, so that you will have lots of choices in life, so that you will be able to make a positive impact in your life and the lives of others.
In my class I treat others with respect, love, kindness and I hope that others (you students) will follow my lead. I will not make you do anything, but I will encouage you as much as I can.
I am one, you are many, I need your help to make everything come together. I welcome your suggestions to making the educational process more relevant to your life, more meaningful to you.
I expect all my students to treat each other with kindness. One act of kindness will bring on another. It is not easy, but I am determined to help you, my students, be all you can be and to be kind to one another. One at a time, that is my hope, my dream, for all to treat others how they themselves would like to be treated.
